Special Edition Verbose Online Coathanger Spam

Dateline: Geneva - January 2003

Welcome to our first Expanded Verbose Spam for 2003
featuring all the latest news from the world of Ross Ryan.

Ok - that's me done. I think I've covered all the main things that are going on in the world of Ross. I'll be here in Geneva for another couple of days catching up on the shopping I was unable to do in the Bahamas but hope to be back in time for the Music & Blues Festival.

In case I've forgotten anything I suggest you check out our web site at www.rossryan.com where our skilled web team have finally begun the slow process of updating our pages. Some kind of design concept is sure to follow eventually.

Sorry for the even more verbose nature of this month's Spam - but we are in slightly troubled times and Coathanger wanted to share this with you. As part of our "Make Ross Feel Whole Again" stategy - I'm about to send him an SMS message from my hotel suite telling him to cheer up, stop being so self-indulgent and get over whatever it is that's bugging him.

He has to know we care.

Cheers

Connie

~  RR Tour 2003  ~

In the wake of the 2002 version, Tour 2003 kicks off big time with the debut of Ross Ryan Dot Combo at the Melbourne Music & Blues Festival (although we're not quite sure when the Blues ceased to be considered music). Also coming up are Ross's first appearances in South Australia for 15 years!

First of all, a sincere or at least well meaning wish from Coathanger that 2003 shapes up well for you all. 2002 certainly had its moments but we're all counting on this year making the last one look like history.

Already there has been much activity (and a few traumas) here at Coathanger despite the fact that most of the staff have been incommunicado and/or on extended vacations for the past few months.

~  Ross Finishes Album - Coathanger Blocks Release  ~

Most of you will have already read in the media that Ross's long awaited album "Chase The Ghosts Away" was withdrawn from release a few moments after Coathanger executives finally listened to it.

Apparently no one around here seemed to notice that Ross has been having a few tired and emotional experiences as of late and this seems to have been reflected in quite a lot of the non-joyous material he's been writing and recording.

Fortunately Ross only has to re-write about 90% of the lyrics and then re-record them over the existing tracks - which shouldn't take that long. For our full report and CEO Al DeKlien's press release go to:

Album Delayed

Ross in unusually upbeat mood.

In an attempt to placate and distract angry Ryan fans, Coathanger has released a free mp3 single "Cool River". Described as much more upbeat than most of Ross's recent work you can download the track here:
