After a few days R&R, rehearsals and press duties, Ross and Glen Combo band-mate Ken Stephenson, on September 25, start the WA leg of Spring Tour in Perth at Friends Restaurant at the Hyatt Hotel. Hosted by the ever charming Clyde and Lesley Bevan, this will be Ross's 5th appearance at Friends.
Saturday September 26 is AFL Grand Final day, and whilst the big men are preparing to fly, the lads will be up early and making their way to Ross's hometown of Albany for a gig at the aptly named Ryan's Premier Hotel. There Ross is looking forward to catching up with old friends from both Albany and the farming district of Manypeaks where he lived as a boy. It should be a big night!
Finally, after thousands of kilometers of travel, Spring Tour 2009 comes to an end with a very special concert in Boyup Brook. There at 5pm Sunday the 27th, Ross and Ken will be performing at the Harvey Dickson Country Music Weekend - being the only country music festival that Ross, in his long and colourful career, has ever played. If you happen to be in the area don't miss this historic occasion!
At the conclusion of the tour, Ross returns to Glen Iris to continue work on his new studio album, and where preparations are already underway for Ross Ryan Summer Tour 09-10.
