New Album Almost Close To
Nearing Early Stages Of
Pre-Completion Cycle
Cover of withdrawn album

Since then, Ross and co-producer James Feldman have disassembled and re-crafted a collection of songs, that according to Coathanger: "address with depth and integrity, the sweeping landscape that is the human condition except for the depressing bits".

The big question of course is - when will it end?

When will Coathanger and you and even Ross be free of this? When can we at last talk and think and write and care about something else? When do we get our lives back?

And hey - at the risk of appearing gauche - there's a lot of people around here who are really curious to know as to "when does the money thing kick in"?

Although this paragraph will no doubt be edited many times over the months ahead, we feel supremely confident that we will have closure by August. This only puts us 7 months behind schedule give or take 20 years.

Then Ross will do some more dumb stuff and start another one.

There are probably many riveting reasons for this but the bottom line is that to maintain the job description of 'singer-songwriter' one indeed has to occasionally sing and write songs. This obviously dawned on Ross a few years ago and subsequently he began work on what we at Coathanger call 'The New Album'.

And though for many RR fans it's hard to believe,
it appears that he's actually going to finish the damn thing.

Earlier this year, Coathanger regretfully delayed the album's release after senior board members in Corsica ruled that the material - though excellent as it was - was somewhat less than uplifting.
